The American Podiatric Medical Association found through their survey that seventy-seven percent of Americans report experiencing some form of foot pain. One third of those surveyed who said they had foot pain aid mentioned seeking the care of a podiatrist. Additionally, half of the respondents who suffer from foot pain say this pain happens to have an effect on their daily activities.
Among participants who visited a podiatrist, 88% reported getting a quick diagnosis and 76% said that they were provided an effective treatment or care. One third of the respondents who sought out care said their podiatrist was able to alert them of other medical concerns, such as circulatory issues, nerve issues, or diabetes.

What is a Podiatrist?

Patients are then told to follow a series of tasks to complete the treatment. The computer will scan the foot a see which areas show weight distribution and pressure points. The podiatrist will read the analysis and then determine which treatment plans are available.
